Hilly Rife - Seventy Years - 9/1/97
I don't believe in all my life I've met a man like Hilly Rife I don't know why they named him Hilly Instead
of John or Jack or Billy I'll tell you why as best I can He's not an ordinary man

In his Stetson hat and black cigar You can recognize him from afar And the tales he tells of what he's done
Of the planes he's flown and races won Don't ever have a single doubt He'll show you proof that he has
clout

|
| Becky & Hilly |
He's kind and generous and loving too To everyone He ever knew His promotion skills are at the top He'll work
until he's about to drop There was a time, it was the talk If he didn't die, he'd never walk But Hilly showed
them he had grit and all of them were full of S--t

With Becky as his charming wife They've led a most exciting life They had three children along the way They've
all grown up, oh happy day

|
| Debbie & Rex |
First came Hilly Jr. the namesake of his dad And then along came Vicki, that made them very glad But the family
wasn't finished, they had another boy They named the baby Larry - a new one to enjoy

So here after seventy years Filled with blood and sweat and tears He's full of pep and going strong Ever ready
to talk or sing-a-long
So Hilly,as we celebrate your birth As a friend, we can't express your worth You're a real joy to be around
And your past experiences abound
It's folks like you that are the stars Who made the sport of racing cars As monumental as it has become
You're an Icon with a missing thumb I'll place you first of all the rest Because to us, you are the
best.
Happy Birthday Jim & Edith Emmons
